The Bijli Mahadev Trek starts from Kinja Village in Kullu. To reach Kullu, you can choose from any of the following transport options-
By Road-
Regular buses (both government and private) operate from Delhi, Chandigarh, and other nearby cities to Kullu. Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) and Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) offer comfortable Volvo and semi-sleeper buses.
By Train-
The nearest broad-gauge railway station is Chandigarh Railway Station, about 270 kilometers from Kullu. From Chandigarh, you can take a bus or hire a taxi to reach Kullu. The drive takes around 7-8 hours. Another option is Kalka and Joginder Nagar railway station but they are less preferred due to limited connectivity.
By Air-
The nearest airport is Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar Airport), located about 10 kilometers from Kullu town. You can hire a taxi or take a local bus from Bhuntar Airport to Kullu. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes.
