About this activity

The trek begins from the picturesque hill station of Manali and takes you through the lush green forests of pine, oak, and maple trees, as you gain altitude towards the Hampta Pass.

The trek route also includes the beautiful villages of Sethan and Chika and the stunning Hampta snow valley. Trekkers can also enjoy panoramic views of the towering Himalayan peaks, including Deo Tibba, Indrasan, and Hanuman Tibba. The trek is best enjoyed during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is pleasant and the snow has melted. The trail is well-marked, and the trekkers are accompanied by experienced guides and porters who ensure their safety and comfort during the trek.

Itinerary

The Hampta Snow Valley Trek begins with your arrival in Manali, a popular hill station located in the Kullu Valley.
Upon arrival, take a taxi to our Manali campsite. Old Manali is known for its vibrant cafes, traditional Himachali architecture, and stunning views of the Beas River.
You can spend the day exploring the town, visiting the famous Hadimba Temple, a beautiful shrine dedicated to the goddess Hadimba, and indulging in some local delicacies in the market.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Prini, a Heritage Homestay located just 4.5 kilometres (2.5 miles) away from Manali.
This is where your trekking adventure begins. The trek to the beautiful Sethan Village, situated at an altitude of 2,850 meters (9,350 feet).
Once you reach the Homestay at Sethan Valley, you will check into your rooms and spend the night under the starry sky.

As you trek towards the Hampta Valley, you will be mesmerised by the scenic beauty that surrounds you.
You can take your time to admire the beauty of the surroundings, click photographs and create memories that will last a lifetime.
After this, we will trek back to the same route. You will spend the night at our Homestay, in the lap of nature, under a starry sky.

After breakfast, you will trek back to Prini, retracing the same trail you took on day 2.
The trek takes around 3 to 4 hours, and you will once again pass through the beautiful landscapes of the Hampta Valley.
You will reach Manali by noon, and the trek ends with your departure from Manali.
