Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Jaralu Thach/ Bakarthach via Dhundi

  • Reach Old Manali which is the meeting point for this trek. After arrival at the predetermined spot in Manali, your drive to Dhundi will start, which is a 20 km long route.
  • The trek leader will give you a quick overview of the hike when you arrive at our Manali Campsite. You will begin to ascend to Jaralu Thach/ Bakarthach, after getting your packed lunch.
  • Once there, get to your camps and unwind for a while. You can spend the night in your tent after a delectable dinner.

Day 2: Jaralu Thach/Bakarthach to Beas Kund and back, Drive to Manali Campsite

  • Start the Beas Kund trek, which is a little challenging but also rewarding.
  • You will reach the Beas Kund, a lake with startling blue waters encircled by steep mountains and occasionally, purple wildflowers, after walking for four to five hours.
  • The Beas River originates in the lake, which is surrounded by a seemingly unending field of meadows. Witness how the water flows as the numerous streams combine to form the large main river.
  • After some time has elapsed, we begin the 4-5 hour trip back to Jaralu Thach.
