Today I have completed hampta pass with Himtrek. This is my 5th trek and it's my best trek of all. My experience with Himtrek was great. Our guide Surya and Sanju sir were really experienced and supportive. Food was great. Everything was perfect.

The overall experience was great for Hampta paas trek. Our guides, Om bhai, Arun bhai and Shashi bhai were great in all aspects of safety, enjoyment and assistance. Their guidance for this moderate trek was of great help. The stay was also good and so was the food. Everything was very well coordinated throughout the 5D/4N trek.

You will experience both beauty and risk at once as you navigate the perilous curves that lead from Manali to the Spiti Valley. Keep in mind to pay attention to your surroundings because they are changing beautifully. You’ll note that the landscapes here transition from green to brown.

Besides its captivating landscapes, Spiti Valley boasts natural wonders that leave visitors spellbound. ChandraTal Lake, also known as the Moon Lake, is a pristine high-altitude lake surrounded by majestic mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1: DEPARTURE FROM DELHI / CHANDIGARH

The group will assemble at the pick-up point.
You will meet the team captains and a small tour briefing
session will be conducted.
After which, we’ll head out on an overnight journey to
Manali.

Reach Manali by morning and check in to the Hotel.
After some leisure, feel free to explore the local area of
Manali according to the place that interests you.
You can visit Mall Road, Hadimba Temple, and Old Manali for
some good cafes to chill or Vashist Temple for the Hot water
spring.
Come back to the hotel by evening. Dinner will be served.
Briefing about the next day and overnight stay.

Day 3: MANALI TO KAZA VIA ATAL TUNNEL & KUNZUM LA - STAY AT KAZA

Early morning, breakfast will be served. We start our journey
to the valley of the Gods - Lahaul & Spiti.
Crossover to Lahaul by crossing the Engineering Marvel - Atal
Tunnel, and watch the terrain shift from lush green valleys
to brown arid desserts.
At 14,931 ft we cross another high altitude pass & the
gateway to the Spiti Valley - Kunzum La.
We continue our drive through the stunning landscape to
reach Kaza by evening, dinner & overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 4: KEY MONASTERY , HIKKIM, KOMIC AND LANGZA - STAY AT KAZA

Wake up early morning and after having breakfast, head for
Spiti valley sightseeing.
Visit the most scenic monastery of Spiti Valley - The Key
Monastery.
Further, drive to the highest suspension bridge in Asia - The
Chicham Bridge.
Visit the iconic villages of Spiti - Hikkim ( location of the
World's Highest Post Office), Komik(the highest village in the
world connected through a motorable road) & Langza(the site
for the holy Buddha Statue)
Come back to Kaza by evening.
Dinner and sleep overnight.

Day 5: Kaza to Chandratal via Losar and Kunzum La, Overnight stay at Chandratal

We start tracing our steps back towards Manali.
Lets make one last stop to witness another Spitian wonder -
Chandra Taal Lake.
One of Himachal Pradesh's most stunning lakes, Chandratal
offers a lovely combination of adventure and unspoiled
nature.
Later check into the Campsite at chandratal, have dinner &
overnight stay at the tents under the gaze of a million stars

Today, we commence our way back on the Manali - Kaza
Road.
We pass through some more stunning landscapes and reach
Manali by afternoon.
After some leisure at the Cafe, we will depart to Delhi /
Chandigarh and reach by next morning with lots of amazing
memories to remember for a lifetime.
