Arrive in Manali and check in to a premium 3-star hotel or cozy resort nestled among the Himalayan pines. Today is at leisure to relax and acclimatize: explore the Mall Road markets, visit the nearby Hadimba Temple, enjoy a soothing spa or yoga session, or simply sip tea while taking in the mountain vistas.
In the evening, meet your small-group guide for a welcome briefing and gear check. Dinner at the hotel is a gourmet multi-cuisine affair featuring local delicacies and international favorites, setting the tone for our upscale adventure.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, board a private SUV or deluxe minibus for the scenic drive to Gulaba (about 1 hour). At Gulaba (2,600 m) you’ll receive a trek briefing from our expert guide before beginning the hike.
The trail ascends gently through fragrant oak and deodar forests that soon open into wide alpine meadows. We pause at midday for a hot packed lunch prepared by our camp chef.
In the afternoon we reach our first high camp (around 3,800 m) amid panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. Here deluxe alpine tents are already set up – each tent is spacious and outfitted with cushioned foam mattresses, premium sleeping bags, and cozy bedding.
Relax with hot tea/coffee and snacks as you take in the mountain panorama. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous multi-course dinner under the stars, followed by a cozy bonfire or stargazing session beside the camp.
Wake up early to a nutritious alpine breakfast prepared at camp. Then trek toward the sacred Bhrigu Lake (4,250 m), passing through flower-strewn meadows and rocky ridges. The climb (roughly 3–4 hours round-trip) offers spectacular 360° views of peaks like the Seven Sisters, Deo Tibba, and Indrasan.
We reach the turquoise-blue lake by mid-morning. Spend time at the lakeshore soaking in the spiritual atmosphere and taking photos as sunlight dances on the water.
A gourmet lunch (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available) is served by the lake before we retrace our steps back to camp in the early afternoon. Back at camp, warm up with tea and freshly baked snacks while the alpine light softens the peaks.
Dinner is another gourmet affair – choose from steaming soups, local stews or grilled vegetables with rice – all cooked to order. Overnight again in your luxury tent, surrounded by the quiet of the high Himalayas.
After breakfast, break camp and begin the descent along the forested trail toward Gulaba (about 4–5 hours of easy hiking). Our guide sets a relaxed pace with stops to enjoy the mountain views and river glens.
At Gulaba, your private vehicle awaits for the comfortable drive back to Manali. By early afternoon you’ll check in to your premium Manali hotel or campsite to freshen up. The rest of the day is at leisure – perhaps browse the local crafts market, visit a café with a mountain view, or simply relax in your room.
In the evening savor a farewell multi-cuisine dinner (Himachali thali or continental buffet) at a quality restaurant or at the hotel. Overnight in Manali at your comfortable accommodation.
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Our premium trek concludes here as you depart Manali for your onward journey. (Optional transfers or additional hotel nights can be arranged on request.)
