May to September is the ideal window for a Leh Ladakh Tour Package. June through August offers the best road and weather conditions with all high-altitude passes including Umlingla and Khardungla fully open. April and October are options for seasoned travellers but expect snow and restricted access on some routes.
Yes. Leh sits at 3,524m and several points on this tour exceed 5,800m. Day 1 is intentionally reserved for acclimatisation. It is advisable to carry Diamox after consulting your doctor, stay well-hydrated, avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours, and rest adequately. Himtrek provides an oxygen cylinder 24x7 in the backup vehicle as a precautionary measure.
Indian nationals need a valid government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar, passport, or voter card. Inner Line Permits for restricted zones including Nubra, Pangong, Hanle, and Tsomoriri are arranged by Himtrek as part of the package. Foreign nationals must obtain a Protected Area Permit separately before departure.
Yes, completely. The package is offered in SIC (Seat in Coach) format with a dedicated Team Captain and Marshal present throughout the trip. First-time visitors to Ladakh are well supported with backup vehicles, first aid kits, emergency oxygen, and round-the-clock customer support from Himtrek.
