The path turns hard as you rise to Pathar Nachauni at thirteen thousand five hundred feet. This 6-kilometer walk takes five hours through stone ground and sharp slopes. Rest at Pathar Nachauni camp and sleep well for the next big push.

Fitness and Acclimatization Rules for this Itinerary

roopkund-4646281

This walk needs good body strength and the right height adjustment to face tall peaks. Start your prep at least two months back with heart work like runs and bike rides. Build your power by doing 5-kilometer runs four times each week at least. Work on slopes and hills to get your legs ready for sharp climbs each day.

Height adjustment matters a lot since you will rise past fifteen thousand feet. Drink lots of water throughout the whole trek to keep off height sickness. Never rush or skip rest days listed in the Roopkund trek itinerary shown above here. Hear what your body says and tell your trek guide if you feel odd. Good rest and slow steps help your body fit in with thin air up high. Stick to these rules tight to keep your trek safe and fun all through.
