By Road- 

There are several private and state-run buses (Himachal Road Transport Corporation – HRTC) that operate from Delhi, Chandigarh, and other major cities to Manali, with stops at Bhuntar. From Bhuntar, you can take a local bus or taxi to Kasol. 

By Train-

The nearest major railway station is Chandigarh Railway Station, located about 296 kilometers (184 miles) away. From Chandigarh, a taxi or bus (Volvo or local HRTC) can be taken to Bhuntar or directly to Kasol. The alternative is, that Joginder Nagar Railway Station is closer (144 kilometers or 89 miles) but has limited connectivity. 

By Air- 

The closest airport to Kasol is Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar Airport), located about 31 kilometers (19 miles) away. From the airport, you can either take a local HRTC bus or a cab.

Day 1: Kasol-Grahan

  • Arrival in Kasol and Begin your trek from Kasol. 
  • The trail starts near the Kasol main market, with clear signage indicating the direction to Grahan Village.

  • The trail follows the Grahan Nalah (stream), providing soothing sounds of flowing water.
  • The path becomes narrower and more adventurous as you get closer to Grahan Village.
  • Reach Grahan Village, a charming settlement with traditional Himachali houses.
  • Check into the campsite arranged for you, keep your bags there, and freshen up to explore the village.
  • Spend the evening exploring Grahan Village, interacting with locals, and learning about their culture and way of life.
  • By the night, come back to the campsite and have a hearty dinner.

  • The path will be mostly downhill, making for a relatively easy trek back.
  • Arrive back in Kasol, completing your trek.
